Curriculum
Play on Paisley believes that children reach their potential when they are given the opportunities to explore, investigate, experiment and reflect. Inspired by the philosophy of Reggio Emilia, our educators actively engage with children to understand their interests and create emergent programming to inspire curiosity and a love of learning. Through listening and critical reflection, the educators plan the learning journey with the children as co-constructors. In every learning journey, the focus is on the process, not the product.
Curriculum planning follows the BC Early Learning Framework where we work with families and caregivers as partners to expand knowledge. The learning inquiries constantly evolve through the reflection in our practice, research, open-ended questions, and daily experiences.

Hours Monday – Friday, 8am – 4:30pm
*We recommend children stay no longer 6-7 hours a day at Play on Paisley Pre-K . (Unless work schedules make this impossible)
Sample schedule
The schedule is simplified as we follow children’s interests with limited teacher guided activities. The activities and projects led by children are shared weekly through the app with parents’ consent.
